Natural gas analysis has become increasingly important in recent years. This is crucial for the quality of the gas due to the increasing diversity of energy sources. Known sources include regional supply sources, biogas injection, hydrogen production from renewable energy sources and the growing use of liquefied natural gas (LNG).
NDIR analyzers selectively detect CH4 (80 – 100 Vol.% methane) and CnHm (0 – 10 Vol.%). In addition, CO2 concentrations in natural gas mixtures can be analyzed (0 – 5 Vol.%) and provide long-term stable measurement results.
UNDV analyzers have low maintenance costs, high time resolution and are capable of analyzing H2S concentrations down to 100 ppm.
