Biogas is produced by fermentation of organic waste and renewable raw materials. The main components of biogas are methane (CH4) and carbon dioxide (CO2). Depending on the raw materials used, biogas may also contain significant amounts of hydrogen sulfide (H2S). In addition, biogas contains nitrogen (N2), oxygen (O2), ammonia (NH3) and water vapor/moisture.
TDLAS analyzers offer low maintenance, high time resolution and the ability to analyze NH3 concentrations down to 20 ppm.
UNDV analyzers offer low maintenance, high time resolution and the ability to analyze H2S concentrations down to 500 ppm.
NDIR analyzers offer low maintenance, high time resolution and the ability to analyze methane (CH4), carbon dioxide (CO2) and oxygen (O2, EC principle) simultaneously.
